Cuvée La Chapelle Rosé
COTEAUX VAROIS EN PROVENCE PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN
Terroir : Clay-limestone.
Grape varieties : 40 % Grenache, 38 % Cinsault, 22 % Syrah.
Age of the vines : 35 years old.
Wine culture : Tillage without chemical weeding, organic amendements, control of yields, sustainable agriculture.
Yield : 50 hl/ha.
Wine raising : Cold pre-fermentation process during 12 hours, selection of pressed grapes, cold settling of the juice, traditional vinification in thermo-regulated stainlees-steel vats.
A beautiful bright and clear colour with salmon hues. The bouquet, charming and very expressive reveals some notes of Harlequin candy and citrus peel. Full and round on the palate, one can find some exotic fruit aromas together with grapefruit notes bringing to the wine a pleasant and marked minerality on the finish.
